WE GIVE FANS A VIRTUAL DOOR

CONCEPT | PRODUCTION | CREATIVE DIRECTION

The CFL asked us to create something different for the launch party of their new adidas collection. We saw this as an opportunity to do two things, give fans unparalleled access to some of the leagues biggest stars, and champion their new attire. We used their media day to record a one-on-one VR experience with MVP Mike Riley and shared it at the party.

CFL FAN EXPERIENCE

Every year the CFL invite the media to learn more about the upcoming season. It’s a big affair for the game, players, and sponsors. It sets the season and gets Canada pumped. In a drive to connect fans and players with the CFL and its new outfits we gave them an opportunity to spend the day with Mike Riley in virtual reality. We championed getting the fans closer to one of the greatest CFL players in the league. VR is all about feeling present and what would be a greater fan-experience than having Mike Riley talk directly to you, sharing his life for a day, while tossing footballs over your head. The experience was created primarily for the launch party of the new CFL Adidas collection, but was a great way to share with fans on social media.
